BBC Proms In The Park

Hyde Park

Saturday 11th September 2010

Artists for 2010 include Dame Kiri Te Kanawa soprano and Jose Carreras tenor, Brian May
and Kerry Ellis accompanied by Proms in the Park favourites the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Martin Yates.

The winner of the BBC Radio 2 Kiri Prize, the station’s nationwide hunt to find a new opera star, will also appear. The pre show entertainment will be introduced by Ken Bruce with Bjorn Again featuring.

The event is broadcast on BBC television and radio plus online across the World with the grand finale from the Royal Albert Hall shown by live feed on giant screens.
