Goodwood Revival Meeting

Goodwood
Friday 17th - Sunday 19th September 2010
Motor racing as it used to be
A magical step back in time to when Goodwood was the social and spiritual home of British motor racing.

The Goodwood Revival is the only major sporting event in the world to take place completely in period. Furthermore, Goodwood is the only classic circuit in the world to be entirely in its original form and the whole site has been maintained and dressed exactly how it was in the heyday of motor racing – perfect in every detail. It is an incomparable experience – a magical step back in time to a different era, celebrating both motor racing and flying.

Guests are encouraged to enter into the spirit of the event by dressing for the occasion and immersing themselves in the atmosphere.

SuperShell Building

This famous Goodwood landmark is situated on the edge of the track at the entry to Woodcote Corner, one of the fastest on the circuit. With reserved seats in the Woodcote grandstand and Goodwood period taxis on hand you will be able to enjoy every aspect of this incredible day. Individual tables are available for 10 guests only.

Salvadori Pavilion

Named in recognition of Grand Prix driver and Le Mans winner Roy Salvadori. These pavilions occupy one of the most prestigious positions next to the famous Goodwood chicane. You are guaranteed to see some thrilling action at this tricky right-left flick leading to the start/finish straight. Individual tables are available for 2 – 12 guests, or private pavilions for 30 or more guests.

The Goodwood Mess

Modelled on the Driver’s Club, takes entertaining to a whole new dimension. Take a step back in time and enjoy a truly interactive experience where the magic of the Revival will be brought to you. Located trackside, next to the assembly area and just beyond the start/finish line with great views all the way to the mighty Madgwick Corner, you are at the centre of all the action.

Just be sure that you dress up in your tweeds and trilbies, frills and frocks to fully indulge yourself in this nostalgic and bustling atmosphere. Private tables are for 6 or more guests, with smaller numbers accommodated on shared tables.

Dress Code

Jackets and ties or cravats are required for entry into the Paddock & the hospitality facilities. Period clothing (1948 – 66), including hats, for both men and women, is encouraged.
